.

Aimee began her career as a graduate of Pratt Institute, where she earned a BFA with honors. Her extensive experience in art and design has touched nearly every aspect of creative design, retail, and brand development. With a lifelong curiosity about how things are made, especially through centuries-old artisanal practices, Aimee has dedicated herself to mastering both her creative and technical skills.

Her journey started at Richard Avedon Studios, where she served as a studio assistant, and continued at Donna Karan, where she worked as a colorist and inspiration designer. At Donna Karan, Aimee fully immersed herself in the creative process, developing a fully functioning artist's studio and dye house, crafting color palettes, fabric effects, embroideries, and unique artisanal techniques. She was also tasked with designing a wide range of Donna Karan’s home categories. This experience led her to launch DKNY Life and DK Collection Home, marking her first transition from fashion into the home and lifestyle sphere.

Following her success at Donna Karan, Aimee became the Senior Director of Home at Banana Republic. She then joined West Elm as one of their first design directors, playing a crucial role in shaping the brand into what would become the most successful retailer of modern lifestyle products. Aimee has also consulted for Jonathan Adler and served as creative director at Time Inc., where she developed branded product assortments for major lifestyle titles such as Real Simple, InStyle, Food & Wine, and Southern Living.

Driven by a desire to create her own world, Aimee launched her brand, M+A NYC, specializing in artisanally sourced lifestyle accessories and furniture. She has designed and consulted for various artisanal resources across India, focusing on rugs, furniture, lighting, and decorative accessories. Most recently, she has consulted with Anthropologie Home on their decorative accessories team, as well as with Schoolhouse and the startup brand The House of Noa.

In addition to her work in design, Aimee is an accomplished fashion illustrator, known for her inventive collages using a variety of materials.

Aimee is open to collaborating on projects of any scale, from two-dimensional spaces to three-dimensional experiences and illustrations, embracing both conceptual and hands-on, handmade approaches.

She lives in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn, with her husband Eric, and their beautiful cats, Isabel and Rufus.
